Olenii
Olenii deposit is situated 5 kilometers from the Olympyada mine in the north-west part of Innokenty syncline. The deposit consists of single ore body 2 to 85 m deep in the form of a narrow elongated and flattened lens. The ore body is 610 m long along the strike and 17.5 m hick on the average. Ores are represented by silicon metasomatisms with admixtures of micas, mafic minerals, tourmaline, carbons, sulfides as well as tungsten and titanium. Gold mineralization belongs to veinlet-impregnated type and consists of rare thin impregnations of sulfide and silicon-carbon veinlets dispersed in the host bed rock.
The deposit contains mostly fine dispersed metallic gold, easily extractable by leaching. Total resources of Olenii deposit make up some 7 tons of gold.
